You will need to print the fliers on both sides and cut them into quarters. You are the "Free Speech Artists' Movement." We need to build this movement by finding those who are passionate about their speech rights and about creating new spaces for artists to sell and show in (art scenes) around Chicago. This is not a political petition governed by election law. It is to help us organize our movement. You are encouraged to make copies. We hope that you will have those you talk to about our "Petition to Expand Creative Chicago" print their name and contact information on it and send it back to us as soon as you are able. If you are very active and need more than you can print or are unable to print at home, email umcac@art-teez.org with "more materials" in the subject line and your contact info with what you need listed in the letter. The fliers are for everyone who signs the petition or that you talk to. The patches are for those who are excited by the "Free Speech Artists' Movement" and who sign the petition. We need you to e-mail us about patches. The press release is for any press or media you might talk to. Please feel free to contact us by the methods listed in our letterhead above with questions, suggestions, and any thoughts that relate to our movement. Stress to everyone that the first step to good luck with this struggle is word of mouth discussion of the topic. Tell them to talk it up and to email their thoughts on this topic to umcac@art-teez.org with "Free-Speech" in the subject line. You can help to build the discussion to increase our creative space. |
